I founded AM Salvage in 2006 because I saw a business opportunity after reclaiming and selling a barn from my hometown in Michigan. Selling reclaimed lumber not only proved to be a productive business opportunity, but it also proved to satisfy my environmental ethos which was built upon the pride I take in upcycling beautiful, historic materials that would otherwise go to the landfill.
Since I had no existing connections, I took it upon myself to tour the major reclaimed lumber yards in the western United States and found the leaders within the industry who were willing to mentor me. To this day, I continue to grow because I continue to learn from the best lumbermen and women America has to offer.
The yard didn’t start with much, just a few semi-loads of lumber, but I worked long hours and drove all over the country searching for and hauling in materials. Today, I am proud to claim AM Salvage as the largest yard of reclaimed lumber in Colorado, and it has the greatest variety and widest selection of materials.
As the sole owner and operator of AM Salvage, quality products and excellent services are my top priorities I provide anything contractors need for a project in one convenient location at competitive prices, and myself and my small team of employees personally see that each order is filled efficiently.
